Sales Engine Review

For industrial companies whose growth has stalled. In three weeks it shows, with data, where your sales are stuck, your three biggest margin leaks and a 90-day plan to fix them.

Where are your sales getting stuck?

When revenue grows but profit stays flat, the problem rarely sits in one place. Quote volume, average quote value, conversion rate and gross margin multiply together, so a small loss in one wipes out the effort in the others. In the Sales Engine Review I take these four numbers from the last 12 months of data and show which one is leaking the most money.

This is not an opinion report. I read your quote and order records alongside interviews with your sales team and your lost quotes. The result tells you, in numbers, which customers, which product groups and which stage of the quote process are costing you profit.

After three weeks I present a plan to management made of concrete steps you can carry out within 90 days. If you wish, we implement it together through the Price and Margin Programme or the Fractional Sales Director package.

Frequently asked questions

How is the Sales Engine Review different from typical sales consulting?

Typical consulting often starts with training or general advice. I start by measuring: quote volume, average quote value, conversion and margin. The recommendations come from that measurement and are delivered for a fixed fee on a three-week timeline.

What data do you need?

Quote and order data for the last 12 months, interviews with three to five people from your sales team and the files of five lost quotes. I send a clear data request in the first week. Your numbers are shared only after the contract and a mutual NDA are signed.

Can you do the review if our quote records are messy?

The review suits companies that keep quote and order records. If yours are scattered we look at it together in the introductory call; if the data is not enough, I will tell you so and not recommend starting.

What happens after the review?

You can carry out the 90-day plan with your own team. Or we continue with the Price and Margin Programme or the Fractional Sales Director package.

Is it a fit? 20 minutes will tell.

In the introductory call I listen to your company and your needs. No data, no analysis. If it makes sense, you get my fixed-fee proposal within 48 hours.
